Indigo

tee: American Apparel | jeans: 7 For All Mankind | blazer: Madewell | shoes: Converse
bag: Alexander Wang | sunnies: Ray-Ban | scarf: gifted

This partially day in Hakata was a very mild one. I wore a pair of indigo blue 7 jeans that might be the most comfiest jeans I've own to date. They're from their kimmie curvy collection.. I don't normally consider myself curvy but the whole point is that they sit up a bit higher on the waist than most jeans on the market. I feel just a tad too old to be having crack exposure (just saying..) Anyway, these are great!

NY to JP

After my 20 hour journey from Manhattan NY to Hakata JP, I'm back! My first stops were into a few random shops that clearly love New York as much as I do. It was like stepping into a time machine when cross colours and converse were all I begged my parents for. I'm talking circa 1989 when high waist acid wash jeans and colorful sweatsuit were all the craze. For the most part everything in these stores were made in the USA...now that's dope!

F-Troupe

Shirt: J. Crew | Pants: Madewell | Blazer: Madewell | Shoes: F-Troupe | Bag: Vintage Gucci
Sunnies: The Row | Lips: MAC Red

Saw these shoes at Barney's and fell madly in love. I almost never wear socks so these pups are perfect for me. They're made from a light weight rubber material and are great for the in-between days that we've been having in NYC lately; where its not warm enough for a full sandal but nice enough for a little skin exposure. I wore them with skinny skinny cords that you saw in this post, my newly favorite white blazer (I'm actually thinking to get this orange one since the cut and fit are so amazing.) and a mild red lip. Spring is the best season to mix and match colors, materials and textures to create different looks. p.s. T minus 2 days to go!

Cobalt

Dress: Anthropologie | shoes: Zara | bag: Alexander Wang | sunnies: Ray-Ban

Long flowy dresses are the best part of Spring.
Super easy to just throw on and could work for both day and evening looks. This cobalt blue dress is from Anthropologie. It's comfortable, can be dressed up with pumps or a wedge sandal or down with a flat sandal or converse. But what really makes it special are the amazing gold buttons the go down the front... that makes me feel cute and girlie!

Minty

tee: LnA | pants: Madewell |  blazer: J. Crew (similar here) | shoes: See by Chloe
bag: Alexander Wang | sunnies: Ray-Ban

The toes have made their debut! I'm sure by now you know and understand my love for the color green.
These cute jelly sandals were found at the Barney's warehouse sale by pure happenstance. They reminded me of my childhood jellies that I wore most summers. I wore them with mint green skinny cords and super soft deep V LnA tee. Growing up, mommy would buy duplicates of whatever her liked most. I guess this has been passed to me. Because I love the fit and feel of these cords so much that I have them in every color.
Here are some other great ones:

Brooklyn Love

And my love affair with Brooklyn continues...
I came across these pictures that were taking last summer and remember how this affair began. Finding inspiration and motivation is very important to my emotional and creative state and while a friend was visiting I noticed all this amazingness around me. The talent, imagination, architecture, colors and good vibrations in every direction is amazing to be a part of.

Simple

Tee: T by Alexander Wang | Pants: American Apparel |  Blazer: Madewell | Shoes: Isabel Marant
Bag: Alexander Wang | Sunnies: Karen Walker

Spent the afternoon in Brooklyn yesterday with the hubby and a dear friend. It was the perfect day for having an outside brunch in the sunshine. With some many small cutie restaurants, tons of vintage shops, and off the beaten path boutiques it was a best afternoon. I wore green high waist riding pants from American Apparel with an oversized T by Wang. I really love these pants because they have so much versatility and because there thicker than leggings but not as thick as jeans. I'm also a huge fan of tees! I love all colors and textures. Alexander Wang makes great ones. Soft cotton great basic colors and just plan easy. Keeping it simple is the best way to make a statement!
